Product Review-Heat protectors

It’s very important to use a good heat protector if you plan to apply heat to your hair whether you are natural or relaxed. Here are a few that I have tried and my thoughts on them

My #1 favorite!

This one is my fav and I haven’t found anything that works better for my hair than this. I use this before I blow dry my hair and while I’m flat ironing it as well. This is very light weight and melts into my hair and leaves it super healthy and shiny. I recommend this to ANYONE!

Silk Elements Olive Heat Protector





This one is a light spray that you mist onto your hair. I would recommend this one for finer hair textures as the spray seems a tad bit heavy although it’s a mist. It has a light delightful smell and it has olive oil which makes it much better.

Rusk Heat Protector Serum

This one is amazing but it is for thicker hair textures! This one is a bit heavy yet still goes onto the hair very smooth. It has a light fresh scent.
