My step by step process for hair washing, moisturizing and bantu knoting

Hi Ladies!

So I have had several people ask me about my process for hair washing so here is a step by step with pictures of what I do and the products that I use.

·         Shampoo with a good sulfate free shampoo

  • I shampoo the hair until I get a nice later and I wash twice when I use shampoo and once when I co-wash (wash with conditioner only)

  • I then condition my hair.. I LOVE Aussie Moist conditioner but I ran out so Im using this one

  • I let the conditioner sit on my hair for 1-2 mins and then I rinse (this is what my hair looks like with the conditioner in)

  • Once I rinse and towel blot hair dry I apply a bit of Miss Jessies "Curly Buttercreme" to detangle my hair

and I only use about this much...
  • Section hair to apply scalp oil and I like Gro Aut oil and Bhringraj oil (These oils and any oils grom the Gro Aut line should NOT be mixed

  • I then begin my natural style of choice and today Im going to do bantu knots and to do that I moisturize with Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Leave-In Protector and I seal with either Coconut Oil or Extra Virgin Olive oil

  • This is how you do a bantu knots.. you section the hair and twist until you have a small roll then secure the twist with a hair pin

This is what the whole head looks like

  • Wrap hair in a silk scarf like this

Once I take them out tomorrow I will post the final pic

***Here is the finished product*** I decided to twist the front back and pin it and tuck the back in so that it could dry slowly
