Product Review - Vegetable glycerin

Ladies,

Here is a review on vegetable glycerin since I have had a few people ask me about it. I have added this to my regimen in my deep conditioner and in a spritz and I LOVE the results! It makes my hair soft and it just feels amazing; I have NO idea what I was doing before I added this to my regimen. For those that don’t know how veggie glycerin works here is some info...

It is a humectant which means it pulls moisture to your hair helping to keep it moisturized. So that means that in humid weather, it will attract moisture to your hair, but in dry air it will take moisture from your hair. I use it in my DC's and well as in a spritz with water and a few drops of Rosemary oil shaken together.

I received a special request on how to re-twist locs, so here it is

Here is what you will need
Steps to re-twist (These steps are after you wash your hair)

1.       Section the hair by each loc based on the part in the hair
2.       Apply a bit of the Loc Butter to the root/ new growth (spray with water bottle if loc feels dry)
3.       Twist until the loc becomes tight to the scalp
4.       Apply Mimsoa hair honey to the scalp after you twist
5.       Secure loc in place with a clip
6.       Repeat setps above until your whole head is twisted
7.       Sit under a hooded hair dryer for about 20-30 mins or until hair is dry
8.       Remove all clips and run fingers through hair to smooth

Product Review- Under Armour Charge RC's

Since I work at Under Armour I was dying for the release of the Charge RC forever! They finally came out in October but I waited until the super cute colors came out to purchase them! So here are the ones that I bought

They are very light weight, breathable and just down right amazing, they have quickly become my favorite shoes. Even though I really don’t jog or run in them they are really cute

Product Review- Almond Oil

I love incorporating natural oils into my daily regimen so I always switch it up and try something new. This time I tried 100% Almond Oil and here are my thoughts on it. I found the oil a bit heavy for me so I only use it on wet styles (bantu knots or buns) I also use it in my deep conditioner as this is the time to get in your hot oil treatments. The oil has little to light scent and is very moisturizing. I did add it to my body lotion and I LOVED the way that it made my skin feel. I purchased mine from a local small natural store, but here is where you can get it.
